Very good gloves but not sure of the tech touch features. Layered fleece and nylon shell is light weight, wind proof and warm. The tech touch buttons, tiny little discs on the forefinger and thumb, work fine on a bare iPhone but wonder when they will fall off or it they would scratch the screen. Will find out eventually, I guess. Does not work through my otter box cover.

The touchscreen spots are useful, though it's hard to see what you're touching since it's such a small spot

The gloves themselves are nice, warm and seem true to size so no complaints there. There is a minor issue with the placement of the "dots" that allow you to use your phone/ipod/tablet without removing the gloves. The dots are placed so that it can be awkward to touch the correct spot on screen. I imagine it is the same with most similar products. A little practice is recommended before seroius use.

The "touch pads" are thick metal discs which are far too bulky and so get in the way when trying to use the 1st finger and thumb for anything other than using a touchscreen. Imagine trying to use your hands with a magnet glued to your thumb and finger and that's what you'll get with these gloves.
    • Cons: Bulky, Poor Grip

nice glove for fit and finish. the tech aspect and use of touch screen devices is lacking. the active surface and useability needs to be re-engineered.

Works well in environment where you need a light weight glove and still need to operate a touch screen. Allows me to use my iPad while flying, without having to remove the gloves. Be sure to use sizing info in item description. It is accurate, but slightly different than the generic glove sizing information offered by STP.
