2XU Run Jacket (For Women)

This jacket could be an inch or two longer in the arms.

This is a nice lightweight jacket. Have not tried it in the rain, but will be using it for my first 5k race.

I sent this jacket back because the sleeves were too short and the jacket was too narrow in the shoulders. I am 5'10" and ordered a large. In most tops I wear a medium but for jackets I usually order a large for more room in the shoulders. This jacket was particularly short in the sleeves. When I run I like the sleeves to at least cover the wrists with a bent elbow and they didn't cover the wrist with straight arms. Also, I don't know if I missed it in the description but there is a panel that runs down the back of the jacket that is all mesh. I was buying the jacket to offer a little wind block for walks and runs. I would think that open area in the back would defeat the purpose of that. The jacket is very lightweight. Too lightweight for my uses.

I thought this thing was too light to do anything, but put it on and start moving and you're toasty! It's repelled light rain and wind so far,even a bit of hail. I'm happy!

Great for running, comfortable and light.

I bought this looking specifically for a top windbreaker layer for cold-weather running. And for that, it's great. I read the other comments and bought up one size (I'm normally a medium, bought large.) And overall it fit snug over two other layers. My biggest concern with it is that the cuffs are rather large. Without any adjustment for them, they work fine over gloves, but hang funny without. I will likely save this jacket for exactly what I bought it for, and select a different coat when I don't need as many layers.

This is the only jacket of the three that I ordered that adequately fit both my hips and chest the others were too tight around the hips. It's still a little big in the chest. I am not overweight in any way but I am a little more curvy in the hips than some. Clearly most running jackets are not made for 50 year olds.

Overall this is a great jacket. Super breathable & the fabric is very comfortable against bare skin. My only complaint is that it's a little narrow in the hips & I wish it had more pockets.

I bought this jacket for running in light rain (as I live int he Pacific Northwest). It is a little bit lighter weight than I expected, but it fits great and does not restrict movement. Has no side pockets, and that's my only downside (why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5).

This is a top-notch running jacket with all kinds of cool technology in its materials, however, I just wear it because I love the feel next to my skin. It is so soft and lightweight, I can forget I even have a jacket on. With most of my other coats I have to remove it when I get in the car because I rapidly get too hot. This jacket stays on so I don't always have to be tugging it on and off every 5 minutes. That is worth it's weight in gold (although I guess it may be too light for that to amount to very much, 5 oz I think). If you don't know, Nebraska's weather can change quickly. In one day we had sun, rain, ice and snow, which cleared and we had sun again. You never know. Good to have a versatile jacket to rely on.
