Due to being made of acrylic it makes a crinkly sound when you move it around. Also produces quite a bit of static cling, but I guess any hat does when it is cold and dry.

I like the fit they cover the ears well for the cold and they don't seem scratchy at all. Colors look nice and deep. I bought Red and Orange.
