kept me warm and dry with just a base layer and t-shirt underneath. the ipod pocket could use a little tweaking, the sticky plastic window and too-true to fit sizing makes it hard and scary to put my ipod back in while on the lift. (why the plastic window? it's not like you can use the wheel through it, maybe to watch a movie inside your coat?) Overall, a good jacket for cold days of riding.

Pocket zippers zip in the wrong direction

The product description says it all, except that the awesome lining fabric gives this item a cool edge beyond technical! It's a bonus, especially at that price!

I snowboard with these and They are so comfy and suprizingly flexible. I also work as a doorman for long hours in the cold and these pants never let me down.

Great jacket. Layer system is perfect, warm, waterproof & breathability can't be beat. Pockets for everything. 686 makes a superior product & looks just as good!

awesome jacket. i really like how all the 686 stuff goes together. i have some 686 pants and the connection to the jacket saved my butt from a soggy day on the slopes.

I live and work at a ski resort in Alaska. I've been in these pants for the last 10 days on average 14 hours per day. The pocket placement is perfect. The pockets also have double closures (knee pockets have velcro closure and an extra velcro flap closure. The waist pockets have a zippered pocket and a velcro flap. I am shocked that these pants are as serviceable as they are for the price. I get pro deals on some gear and this is the best value of any pants that I've seen. I'm ordering an extra pair for when these wear out. They might be overkill for the 1 week a month rider. They are great for daily wearing pants.

Jacket has good value but too heavy/bulky

Bought this jacket for my son, a teenage boarder, and he loves it. Can't wait to wear it for the upcoming season. Terrific value.
