A poor copy of a Gamo air rifle By Vinceb from Salem, NJ on 07/19/2008 Cons: Low velocity, Poor Accuracy, Shoddy Quality Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Right out of the box this rifle had a bad case of barrel droop (barrel points down when the rest of the gun is held level) that was painfully obvious to the naked eye. Velocity and accuracy were not where they should be, and the overall quality of this Turkish gun is notably inferior to the Hatsan-made Daisy's (also made in Turkey). The action is an obvious attempt to copy a Gamo design (the old 220/440/Shadow), but they did a worse job of it than the Chinese.
That being said, Sierra Trading Post took the rifle back without any fuss or hassle whatsoever. Thanks!
Don't agree with above review. By PP from Pleasant Plains Arkansas on 07/14/2008 Describe Yourself: Recreational Hunter Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Contrary to the last review I found the rifle I received in the best of condition. Fired about 100 pellets without a problem. Diesel only on the first three shots and settled down quickly. The sights were almost on and required a little adjusting. Another 50 pellets over the Chrony showed an average of 860 fps. Aiguns never achieve the advertised velocity, this one 1100 fps. It is said this is a Gamo copy. If it is, it is an improved copy. I like it.
