It's more like a pebbled metallic, but very attractive. The red is a metallic-oxblood shade that harmonizes with warm and cool wardrobe colors. The metallic sheen makes this shoe a bit too glitzy for everyday (work, etc,), but it is a gorgoeus choice for dressier ocassions.

The leather is more of a shiny crinkle, like a full-grain pattern, than a true patent, but it is versatile and attractive. The red color is a metallic "oxblood" shade that mixes well with a variety of colors.
