By mike of iowa from on the mississippi on 11/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Inflate, Non Slip Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This pad is the most comfortable I have ever used. It is best to let it sit for a day with the valve open to let it fully inflate. This is not a backpacking pad because it is heavy and a little bulky. but perfect for the weekend or short car trips. Really I slept better on this than on my memory foam mattress at home.
By Jake from Mt. Mitchell, NC on 11/03/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Design, Easy To Inflate, Non Slip Cons: Bulky Roll Up, Heavy Best Uses: Car Camping, Extended Trips, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great pad for comfort. Not light or compact enough for hiking, but great for base camp/casual camping. Somewhat of a chore to roll up, but carry bag is sized appropriately, plus has carrying handle.
great tent (not test in rain) By noodle from Shenandoah on 10/29/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy To Set Up, Fly Works Well, Lightweight, Sturdy Best Uses: Car Camping, Mountaineering Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: easy to set up, the floor layer kept dry through out the night, that was impressive. haven't tested in rain though.
