No blisters, no hot spots, great support and comfortable. Next adventure wearing them: Chilkoot Trail. Awesome shoe.

Placement of gromet securing the heel allows wearer to lace boot tight enough to provide platform stability and to eliminate excess heel movement without needing to lace the boot tightly over the arch or ankle areas. Foot will not slide forward even on prolonged steep descents. Virtually no break-in required.
