No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This is an unusual and attractive bag. The quality of the leather and workmanship appear good. Especially attractive is the subdued color and texture of the leather. The downside (for me) is that this largish bag does not close securely at the top. The closure is one snap, which is insufficient as the bag gaps open at either end. Not very safe for the big city or crowded locations. Although it was comfortable, a nice color and attractive overall (if a bit heavy), I returned the bag on account of the insecure closing.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: A nicely shaped and classic bag. However, the strap is very wide, far too wide for my shoulders. The leather is quite stiff, thick, and heavy, which makes the bag rather bulky and heavy overall. It would be best I think for a very tall woman with broad shoulders. Not comfortable for one of average height and shoulder width (I'm 5 ft 6 and the bag was too big and heavy for me).
