A bit too snug for my 10 lbs Chihuahua. Perfect for 6-7 pounders. That should help you size it right for your canine family member.
"Lil'Rascal" will look TOO COOL in this coat once he can wear it without peeing on it! (When it fits snugger around his belly) ;-)

We ended up using it on my roommate's 17 year old blue heeler who was declining and couldn't stay warm. This was wonderful for him, it kept him comfortable in his last months of life. It was easy to put on and take off, we washed it several times with ease, it was perfect.
