The brown is a nice color and will be versatile. It's not a warm jacket, but good for a cool but not cold day or for layering. The only problem is that the sleeves are too long (that rarely happens to me because I have long arms). Rolling them up doesn't work well because the light-colored lining shows. I may have them shortened because I love the jacket otherwise.

Lambswool is a bit itchier than merino, but not bad. I normally wear a sz L in shirts. I bought this in an XL and it fits perfectly. The length is great. It seems that most sweaters nowadays are really short.
