Great gloves for backcountry skiing By Voi from Massachusetts on 10/12/2009 Pros: Durable, Good Grip, Snug Fit, Stylish, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Backcountry skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It's a great product. The only thing that it's missing in my opinion is lack of wrist loops/straps - the ones that will hold your glove attached to you even if you take it off your hand. I find this feature very useful for liftsa and in keeping me from loosing them... Fortunately there are small loops available to hook straps from your old pair to them. I'm used to a loose fit, so I had to get these in one size bigger then my usual choice. Otherwise it's a great pair of gloves!

Feels slightly small but still fits so it's all good.

I have dubbed them the "East Coast Ice Rockets". They allow you to rip and face melting speeds on the worst of the worst ... New England hard pack; which is more like glacial ice than snow.
