When shopping for packs, I was told Deuter was made to be comparable to N. Face so I was excited to get such great price. It's a nice looking pack and fit her pretty well. I wondered how the mesh back panel would make it fit but it was actually pretty comfortable. It will not fit well on a tall person b/c the pack is not real long and it would hit high on your hips. Would not be big enough for extended trips, just overnight or weekend. Good bag!
I was conpletely happy with this backpac By Just Joan from Monterey Peninsula on 06/13/2008 Pros: Durable, Easy to Pack, Good Back Support, Strong Zippers Best Uses: Backpacking, Short Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It provided the right balance to prevent back pain. The shoulder padding could be a bit softer, however.
By timoteo from seattle on 06/11/2008 Pros: Durable, Easy to Pack, Good Back Support, Good Padding, Strong Zippers Best Uses: Backpacking, Short Travel, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend i liked this backpack, although "hydration" compatible is really not true. It would be hard to put a bladder in, since you would have to remove all your gear, and the bladder itself, to fill up the bladder.
also it is just a tad heavy for me, but overall, i like it, and will use again.
