About Earth Boots
Earth shoes were inspired by Yoga devotee Anne Kalso, who believed most modern footwear to be incompatible with the natural alignment of our bodies. Anne knew that the foot was designed to tread soft surfaces like sand or dirt, but perhaps not the concrete walkways of today. With the help of a Portuguese shoe maker, Kalso designed a shoe that mimicked the contours of a sandy footprint. I have knee and lower back issues and these shoes nearly make me forget about my knees and the lower back pain is diminished!
They tend to "bottom-out" at the heel at the end of the day -but I wear them at least 12 hours straight.
When I put these on, my knees "breathe a sigh of relief"!
