Earth |
| Earth shoes were inspired by Yoga devotee Anne Kalso, who believed most modern footwear to be incompatible with the natural alignment of our bodies. Anne knew that the foot was designed to tread soft surfaces like sand or dirt, but perhaps not the concrete walkways of today. With the help of a Portuguese shoe maker, Kalso designed a shoe that mimicked the contours of a sandy footprint. By positioning the heel below the toe, a technology now referred to as Negative Heel®, Earth shoes promote better posture by aligning the body naturally - as it was meant to be. This, combined with contoured and cushioned footbeds, shock absorbing gel midsoles, and comfort-engineered soles, make Earth shoes the natural choice. Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are my 'go to' shoes. I don't even know I have them on they are so comfortable. I think these were my first pair of Earth Shoes. I've added more styles because the Earth Shoes do help with my back, knee and foot problems. I wear these shoes to walk my dog and I also wear them for my own walking program.
