Very nice heavy weight parka By Unionblue1 from Dublin, Ohio on 10/28/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Warm Best Uses: Bad Weather, Daily Use, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This coat was even better than pictured. It is a nice heavyweight winter coat with a lot of insulation. It also has cords to adjust the fit and even has a very nice detachable hood. I was very pleased with this purchase and look forward to wearing it this winter.
By Poker Dude from Las Vegas, NV on 10/28/2009 Best Uses: Moderately Cold Weather, Wind Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I couldn't find a 2X tall jacket in my usual local stores, so I decided to try Sierra. This jacket was on back order but arrived in time for our first cold weather. The snap-off hood is a plus for those cold, windy days. It's a little heavy but really comfortable and covers my long arms. I haven't washed it yet, so I'm not sure about it's durability or shrinkage.
By chocolate moon from NY on 10/13/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight Cons: Bulky, Not Warm, Oversized 2 thin 4 NY Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Stiff fabric and not warm enough for upstate NY winters! Wonderful price so will keep and use as outside layer!
