By mountainmama from Colorado Springs, Co on 11/05/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The rubber that wraps around the heel of the shoe has shrunk. Thus when you put your foot in your toes are jammed to the front and there is a big gap at the heel. I ordered two different sizes of the same style and they were both the same way.
By Jon from TX on 10/30/2009 Cons: Not Adjustable, Uncomfortable Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I was unable to use these shoes because they were one size too small. I wear size 12 and instantly knew there was a problem when the soles of the shoes were smaller than my foot. The upper material was very rigid and had zero flexibility. The shoe also tapers towards the top, smashing your toes together. I should have just gone with store bought to avoid this trouble.
Anasazi great! S.T.P.sizing chart failed By sheclimbingpimp from Pacifica, CA on 10/19/2009 Pros: 510 sticky rubber, Lightweight, Pink Cons: Rubber on heel peels back Describe Yourself: Avid Climber Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are old school shoes. They were one of my first pairs and I absolutely loved them! The only thing that I found difficult is that my laces snapped many times...a easy to resolve issue. However, the rubber on the heels has peeled back numerous times. Since heel hooking is one of my most necessary tools in my bag of tricks this does greatly effect my climbing experience. Overall great shoe! Why would it still be around after 10 years if it wasn't a good model!?
