Gloverall |
| An English classic, the duffel coat was originally developed to help the British navy endure frigid conditions at sea. Realizing the possibilities, Gloverall updated and energized the duffel to appeal to men and women who wanted a stylish coat to keep them warm through London’s bone-chilling winters. Thus began the Gloverall tradition of producing the finest weather-resistant outerwear in Britain. Gloverall uses the most luxurious wools from around the world in their coats, weaving them densely to keep out the harsh cold and driving rain. Popular in fine shops around the world, Gloverall coats are timeless and impeccably crafted, ensuring at all times the absolute highest of quality. |

By OldRattler from Upstate, NY on 06/22/2009 Cons: Wool not the same as orig Best Uses: Winter overcoat Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The coat is extremely well made, no shortcuts. The fabric is not as heavy as an original Pea Coat and, therefore, it is not for severe weather as they were. That said, with so many other options, who would wear this beautiful coat out in the rain?
By Stan the Man from Portland, OR on 05/13/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut, Lightweight, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Daily Use, Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: An excellent addition to one's wardrobe.
