| Like several other great American business ideas, the H. S. Trask Company was conceived on a fishing trip. As Harrison Trask cast for trout on Montana’s Madison River, he wondered why he had never seen shoes made of Buffalo leather. Today, H. S. Trask crafts handsome footwear made from America’s original, soft, natural leathers-Bison, Elk and Longhorn. The highest quality components including cushioned orthotics, soft midsoles, high-grade outsoles and fully lined vamps and quarters are benchmarks of Trask shoes. |

This is a classic design at an extremely good price. The style runs 1/2 size too large, but with Sierra's no-hassle exchange policy, getting a replacement in the right size was easy.
