It's very user friendly.
Tropic 2 Kayak is a steal for the $ By Sierra from San Jose, Ca on 08/31/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Compact, Easy Entry & Exit, Easy To Lift, Easy to Paddle, Good Maneuverability, Stable Best Uses: Day Trips, Flat Waters Describe Yourself: Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This kayak stays afloat and won't tip over. Even my lab can hop in for a ride with two adullts, and we are sturdy and secure.
Wish it had more area for storage. The later model has a depressed area behind the back seat which I think is better. My model does not have that.
By think101 from Lexington, KY on 06/03/2008 Pros: Easy To Lift, Easy to Paddle, Stable Best Uses: Day Trips, Flat Waters, Rivers Describe Yourself: Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: We have had this kayak on flat water and small (class 2)rapids. It has been awesome -- easy to lift and fun to use. It is very stable and has a very usable small child seat between the larger seats. We got some foam practice golf balls to plug the scupper holes (much cheaper than actual scupper plugs - and they work great for when you don't want to get very wet).
