| J. G. Glover began as a family run, hand-frame knitting business in the late 18th century. For seven generations the company was based in Wigston, Leicestershire, knitting and trading in hosiery and textiles. J. G. Glover now produces five and seven gauge knitwear that’s finished to the highest standards and crafted of natural fibers and blends that bespeak the company’s roots. Made for both men and women in classic and contemporary styles, J. G. Glover draws from centuries of artistic experience while keeping an eye toward future innovations. |

I sent them both back. They felt itchy, looked very old-fashioned (and I am old), fit funny. They were just not for me.

I wanted something warm and loose enough to wear over about anything. I get tired of fitted sweaters that don't fit over shirts and fleece tops etc. So this really fits the bill. It is nice enough to wear over a dress when going out but will mostly be worn over jeans and around the house. I wear an 8 (sometimes 10) and I got a man's large as I have found in some cases a Med isn't very loose. In this case, the large is plenty large. A med would have been fine, but since i was going for the loose look will keep the large and may get another one in M down the road. The sweater is thick and warm and gorgeous and not itch and I hope my husband doesn't steal it!

It feels great on. My only concern is that the zipper comes undone at the bottom.
