  • Description: Sierra Trading Post is looking for a full-time visual web designer with a knack for designing compelling and engaging online experiences. This individual will be responsible for creating and producing creative that’s inline with the Sierra Trading Post brand and identity. This role requires critical thinking, design analysis and good communication skills. Ideal candidates will provide a portfolio that demonstrates an understanding of designing for the web. URLs preferred. Responsibilities include: • Provide visual design support for eCommerce department projects • Design and maintain website creative • Create multiple mocks of proposed designs • Build custom web pages on a regular basis • Produce online marketing collateral including on-site and off-site banner ads • Optimize all creative including graphics, HTML and CSS for a broad customer base • Have an understanding of web analytics and how the design influences the purchase decision including implementation of tracking parameters on links for tracking purposes • Create hi-fidelity comps from wire frames and various low-fidelity approaches • Create pixel-level definition of visual designs for IT development staff • Provide email design support • Provide design support on web projects of all sizes • Work towards set deadlines and proactively manage time • Communicate concepts and be open to feedback from various peer groups concerning designs

Search Engine Optimization Specialist [Apply for this Position]
