Even this was a little bit too big (but definitely comfy), but I think that it still works. Yay now I have my classic red pea coat!

Honestly, I never thought I'd bring myself to buy something like this, but have to say I'm so glad I did!
It's a perfect fit for me. At 5'9", the length falls to just under my calves with the sleeves ending just past my wrist. I have the size 12, usually wear a large in tops, and am hippy, and it fits beautifully. The shape of the coat really contours to your body, fitting well at the bust, then flaring away at the hips. The result is that perfect victorian hourglass shape. The material is great quality. I've had this coat for two years now, and everything, including the lining, is in great condition, with no pilling or lining tears. I have to say that it's not a heavy winter coat. Though it keeps me warm, when it's 30 or below outside, I wear my down instead of this.
I've worn it to company meetings, to work, out on the town, and everywhere short of the gym. I've received numerous compliments on it, and just feel incredibly wonderful when I wear it. This is one of those purchases that's really an investment in a quality garment. With a timeless style, this will carry across the years while remaining chic and fashionable.

I am a size 10, but this size 10 was quite large, especially since the swing cut is designed to be a little roomy. An 8 would have fit better. The color is NOT a classic camel - it is more light brown, but still a very pretty color. The wool fabric is very durable, I expect, but not the best quality - it is thin for wool (not much body to the threads). The overall look though is very cute - it looked great with jeans and long skirts. I am returning the 10 and may re-order an 8, but most likely in black.
