Thirty years ago, Judith and Jack were in the business of selling antique and estate jewelry. When they found they couldn’t meet the growing demand for antique marcasite pieces, they began manufacturing replicas and also contemporary interpretations of marcasite. I expected it to be darker like the other marcasite jewellery I have, but it looks more like hematite instead.

It looks like an abrupt stop unless you have long hair behind the earrings. I decided to return them.
