I've been looking for a waxed cotton Barbour-like jacket for years but I could never afford one. This jacket has everything you'd want in waxed cotton jacket. Its warm, perfect for ny fall, and I can't wait to test its water-repellency. Bonuses are the price and the plaid is great because its different from the green waxed cotton coats you see everywhere.
Warning though these jackets are big in the chest, so order your regular jacket size. They're made to accomodate layers, so don't order a size up if you intend to wear sweaters under it.
