Kinross cashmere fibers are spun, dyed and knit into Kinross sweaters in specially customized Kinross knitting mills. Kinross adheres to strict Scottish cashmere production standards. At Kinross mills, natural fibers are dyed before they are spun to ensure deepest color. From combing of the goats to knitting frame operation, Kinross cashmere garments are made by hand. At Kinross, yarn tension and garment shape are monitored by feel to adhere to Kinross Scottish standards for sturdiness. Kinross sweaters have knitted panels and seams sewn by hand to finish the garment and to assure quality. Still kind of pricey. The draping lapels in front look very elegant, but they have a different weave, vertical lines, from the rest of the sweater. I didn't like the way that looks. Suddenly very casual for a dressy sweater. Too short in back.

Cashmere makes me itch, though, and I had no problem fitting a light top underneath without looking bulky. Super soft and warm. Fit is close to body on torso.
