The first Korkers fishing footwear was created using scrap rubber, nylon cord and carbide spikes more than 50 years ago in a small basement workshop. Shortly thereafter, Korkers "River Cleats" were born and this highly functional wading sole system soon became a favorite among local fishermen. This only happens when you are wading in fast water on slippery rocks. I liked them enough to buy another set of soles.
