This is is my second pair. The first pair had a defect and the stiching came apart. But the warrenty dept. at la sportiva was great and origionally gave me my money back, with no questions asked. I use these boots daily for work and are great for climbing ladders, poles, or just getting in and out of trucks. Spoil yourself while you can... They are not making this boot anymore.

By Waiting for snow from Duluth, MN on 11/12/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Versatile Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: ...if you have narrow feet like me. Definitely pay attention to STPs recommendation to order a half-size larger than your normal European size (40.5 for 40, etc.) The break-in period was easy; a few short hikes and scrambles, and everything eased into a very comfortable fit. The only thing I'm not thrilled about are the laces, but that's a simple enough fix.
