By Leadville 100 2346 from Kent Island, MD on 10/19/2009 Pros: Comfortable Grip, Durable, Easy To Use, Versatile Best Uses: Backcountry Camping, Day Trips Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've used this knife for everything from sailing to hiking. Very durable. Does not have all of the usual Leatherman options but the knife alone is worth the price.
By jeff the giant from nacogdoches, tx on 10/14/2009 Pros: Comfortable Grip, Sharp Blade Cons: Difficult To Clean, Heavy Best Uses: Campgrounds, Day Trips Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Little on the heavy side, but gets the job done with ease.
By Mtn Hack from Ft Collins CO on 10/06/2009 Pros: Comfortable Grip, Compact, Easy To Use, Good Weight, Sharp Blade Best Uses: Backcountry Camping, Campgrounds, Day Trips, River Trips, Road Trips Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love the carabiner/bottle opener, but the overall quality is not quite up to the level of the E306. The open assist lever has too much play so does not function as well as on the E306, which opens easily, without fail. Worth Sierra Trading prices, but not MSRP.
