| After studying in the United States for six years, twenty-seven year old Martin Michaeli returned to Europe and founded Mephisto, a company that soon became synonymous with extraordinary footwear. Michaeli received his first patent for his special shoemaking process in 1973 and transformed Mephisto into a global brand just two years later. Famous for comfort, Mephisto utilizes exclusive technologies and offers finely crafted shoes with excellent cushioning, support, and breathability. The Air-Techno or fresh air system constantly circulates air throughout the shoe to avoid odor and clamminess. Air-Relax midsoles, Air-Step cushioned removable insoles, and the Soft Walk shock absorbing system are a few more Mephisto breakthroughs that define their continued popularity. There is lots of support for the soles of the feet. The sandals are very pretty but manage to be comfortable. My toes do not need to grip when I walk. Extremely comfortable and stylish. The flower decorations are feminine and these sandals are perfect to show off a nice pedicure. Great price for these excellent sandals.

It has an high level of comfort from the first wearing. There is lots of support without feeling too therapeutic. I am surprised that I liked the color so much in person. It will go with lots of things. My feet feel well supported on the soles and also around the upper areas. This shoe is sporty but at the same time manages to look chic. I wish there were more colors as I would like another couple of pairs. I feel that my gait is improved by these flexiblle shoes. Such a great price here too. Would be a great shoe for travelling that involved lots of walking. More attractive than expected.
