| In 1946 the Moreshci family emerged from World War II to start a family-run business in the industrial district of Vigevano, Italy. This first generation of master shoemakers soon achieved a reputation for excellence and passed down its closely-guarded process to the skilled workers of today. More than 250 production steps create each pair of Moreschi’s elegantly fashioned shoes, distinguished by hand-stitched uppers and strong Goodyear welts. Moreshci of Italy produces a wide range of footwear, from sophisticated dress shoes to comfortable casual wear. |

I find the shoes were stiff in the beginning but about 4 or 5 times of wear (I only wear them for work), they begin to soften up. Also, the leather does not crease as much, which I like. The shoes are comfortable when broken in, I can actually work all day in these shoes without having to take them off in my office. I have many other fine ready to wear shoes such as Edward Green and Santoni FAM. The leather on Moreschi shoes are not as supple as EG or Santoni FAM shoes, but they are still good quality.
