Hand-made from a down comforter, the first Obermeyer jacket was a true innovation in warmth. ack in 1947, Klaus Obermeyer became one of the first ski instructors on Aspen Mountain (he still skis more than 100 days per year). Upon watching his students struggle with the cumbersome and restrictive clothing of the day, he made it his mission to design skiwear that would keep them warm, dry and limber. It is warm, wind and waterproof which will be great whether it's snowing, raining or blowing.
The only drawback for me is the fit. I'm large busted so I had to get the size up which is a little too big everywhere else. Otherwise I'm very happy with it.
