Moves right along on still waters with hardly any effort. On a windy day the waves are fun to ride in this kayak and very stable. Would recommend to all paddlers or all levels. First all-around kayak I've purchased. It dumped me once so far but I deserved it! Great in lakes and moderate rivers. Taken down a few fast moving rivers and tough rapids, works good for that too but you have to work harder at staying up! The large opening makes for easy, safe exits and plenty of room for storage.
