    Got these as a soft shell layer for hiking/mountaineering. Great fit from top to bottom- I am 5'8" 130lbs and have a horrible time finding pants that are long enough and fit in the waist without being horribly baggy in the seat and legs. These fit as if they were made for me- Bravo to OR for realizing that some of us need slim fit! Love the material and the stretch- sturdy fabric holds up but allows for absolute freedom of movement. Great with a base layer for extra warmth.

    Great to take along when you're not sure whether it will rain or not. If not, it doubles as a sun hat. Won't blow off in the wind. Can be tossed in the car or shopping cart without worrying about sitting on it or putting stuff on it. The casual style and sturdy material leave the hat looking the same. Love the dark taupe color.
