Their love for the outdoors spawned Pacific Outdoor Equipment, a grassroots company devoted to producing some of the lightest sleeping pads on the market as well as innovative waterproof dry bags and packs specially made for canoeing, kayaking and backcountry travel. In fact, Pacific Outdoor Equipment received the 2004 Editors Choice Award from Backpacker Magazine for their groundbreaking MaxThermo sleeping pad. I dont mind blowing one of these up the last few puffs, but this didnt want to self-inflate at all. Also, I am 6 feet 210 lbs, and it was very narrow for me.
