Very wide brim. Keeps sun off ears, neck and face. Brim can be flipped up, down or anything in between. Material is weird...I can see why it's a "paper derivative", and I like that it seems eco-friendly (although I don't even know if it really is!), but it somehow seems a bit plastic-y as well. It feels soft-ish, but is a bit shiny. I am worried about it getting wet, although I haven't gotten it wet yet, it just seems like it might not hold up very long. I have already smashed it by accident, and it was fine to reshape! Still, for the price, and the looks of it, it's well worth it!

I took it out of the box and immediately noticed it was coming undone. The color/shape are not attractive and it was far too big for me. Couldn't imagine liking it any less.
