I could not slide my foot into the Pikolinos shoe due to my high instep. I thought if I ordered a size larger they would fit, but I had the same problem. The shoe seems well made but definitely does not accommodate a high arch. Elle carries a very similar style and fits well - but lacks cushioning in the heel.

I work on a college campus so I walk quite a bit. They're definitely meant for more of an indoor or smooth surface, however, as you can feel a pebble under the sole.
