I bought this to use as a 'hands-off' light when I perform maintenance on my cars or motorcycles. Also as a helmet light for offroad motorcycle riding. Good for trailside repairs or BS'in with the buds!

I bought this so I could get my walk in the woods with my dog in the morning, before work, while it's still dark. It works perfectly for me and my dog is ecstatic to get his morning exercise. I've only used it a few times so don't know about battery life but it was rated well so hope that's the case.
