But after removing a couple of inches of the flailing cuffs, the jacket was suddenly sleek. Similarly, after shortening the skirt (twice - I wasn't brave enough the first time), the whole suit became well-proportioned. I still think this will be very useful worn as separates, but it also now works as a suit. So few clothes come in pretty, uplifting colors, that this is a boost to my wardrobe. I did not find that it ran small. I think it's true to size.

I probably won't get much more use out of it, so the price was perfect. The suit is lovely and very feminine but the photo showed a lace insert on the bodice that did not come with it. Overall I liked it enough to keep it!
