However, since I'm 5 ft. tall and the hat came down on my face, it simply wouldn't "go" with my face/head/body.

Must take it to a hat shop to be resized. Its brim width is more suited to dresses and more casual suits.

I'll still wear it because I like broad brimmed hats - but a few people have commented that it looks like a very stylish witch's hat.
