These Boots are the Best!! By Ridge Wanderer from Ocala, FL on 07/13/2009 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Cute, Durable, Stable, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love these boots. I bought them in Wyoming when the weather turned cold and snowy in June. They kept the wet out and the warmth in without any extra waterproofing efforts. After the first day of wear, these boots felt like an old friend; no foot fatigue or soreness at all. The side zipper is quite handy, and the laces allow you to custom fit them to your lower leg. These look great with jeans.
By A from New York City on 02/06/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I had a pair of "Defrosters" a Canadian boot for well over 20 years. I never thought I'd find a boot as able to take the snow and slush of New York City as well. This boot, also Canadian made, seems to be doing the job, although I have yet to wade through a deep slush puddle in them, but have done well in very cold weather and snow.
By citymom from New York City on 01/29/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've worn these boots to work on rainy or snowy days - I have to walk several city blocks at both ends of my commute. The boots are attractive enough to look dressed professionally, so I can wear them all day and don't have to carry shoes. And tested in a truly messy and slushy winter storm, they were completely waterproof, which was really nice!
By Darenka from AZ on 01/28/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Warm Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The boots are comfortable and the style adds flexibility. The laces aren't just for show, you can adjust the boots as needed, but the side zip makes them much quicker to get on and off. Lightly lined--not appropriate for winter hiking--but you will look polished about town.
By Deb from Big Bear Lake, CA on 01/21/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots are attractive and practical. I can wear the boots with a skirt or pants. The boots lace up and have a zipper for easy entry. Due to arthritis, one ankle is larger than the other. The laces help expand that shoe, and the zipper makes it easy to get on and off.
The shoe is well made, and has good traction for icy and wet conditions.
Adorable boots that don't disappoint. By Victoria of the North from Cleveland, OH on 01/15/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: In my search to find boots that were stylish, waterproof, warm and did not have fur on them, these were the winner. It has been snowing here since the beginning of November and my boots from last year had fallen apart. I love that these little brown boots make me feel like I can take on the snow without sacrificing my style.
Oh, how I love these boots! By Queen of Shoes from Boston on 01/13/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is my second review of these boots after a month of wear. I own about 15 pr boots (I'm a shoeholic!)and these are my favorite winter boots! They look great with jeans for casual, and just as good with a long skirt for office attire. I only yearn to find them in Cappucino (sz 7- anyone want to trade?) You just can't find a boot so versatile, comfortable, stylish, yet functional. My feet have remained toasty warm and dry in this miserable Boston weather. Buy a pair while they last!!!
