By ida from Dutchess county, New York on 01/06/2009 Cons: Don't Breathe, Not Comfortable, Not Warm Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I was disappointed by this product. The front is quite narrow and the toes cramp. The materials are not of a high quality. I own two pairs of water resistant boots by Aquaitalia and find them chic and comfortable. But I wanted a utilitarian boot for shoveling snow (and resisting salt) so I ordered these as well. The quality does not meet my expectations and I will return the boots.
I would buy this product again By Ash from Florida on 01/06/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I did not want to ruin my leather boots in the snow and still wanted something that would look good. These boots look great and are great for snow and cold weather. I used them in Chicago winter and didn't even have to wear warm socks.
By New York Trails... from New York, NY on 01/04/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My last snow shoes being incredibly clunky and heavy (making it necessary for me to change into different "dress" shoes upon arrival), it was fantastic to find snow/wet weather shoes that are not only stylish - they're easy to get into/out of, waterproof, and lightweight. I'll be wearing these for many winters!!
clunky, too big not gripping on ice By Slipery eel from chicago on 01/04/2009 Cons: Don't Breathe, Not Comfortable, Not Warm, Poor Traction Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: not good at all...i slipped twice in as little as inch of snow...ice forget it you will fall
Just what I wanted, but ran too small By cyclist from Lafayette, LA on 01/02/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These were just what I was looking for for my trip to New York, However, [...] they were too small. I usually where an 8.5 consistantly and these were too short. No way I could have walked all day in them. I will be returning them. I was really disappointed. I would recommend that you buy a half size up from where you usually do, maybe a whole size for thick socks. But they are really warm even with thin socks.
Blondos aren't what they used to be By Loriehei from Grand Rapidsa MI on 12/20/2008 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I sent the boots back without trying them. I bought a pair of waterproof Blondo boots about 6 or 7 years ago and they were the softest supplest leather you can imagine, lightweight too. They were made in Canada. Unfortunately over the years my first Blondos became unglued, and I figured it was time to replace them. The new product made which is in China does not compare to my former purchase. The new pair was stiff, so I sent them back, and went to my local shoe repair who put my old Blondos back into working order.
Really nice, warm and attractive. By ging from post fall Id on 12/11/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These were very nice, though they seem to run a little big.
By pet lover from Rochester, WA. on 12/08/2008 Pros: Breathable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Pet care in the rain Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Cute, waterproof boot. I can go out in the rain, mud etc, clean them off easily and go run errands in them. They do not have a big lug sole, which is what I was looking for, since there is a lot of mud here.
Great boots that can be worn in work By snaillady2 from Philadelphia, PA on 12/06/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great boots, I was looking for something I can wear into work when it's messy out without having to carry a "work-appropriate pair of shoes". Very warm, my feet actually sweated in work, but exactly what I was looking for otherwise. I'd wear with wicking socks.
Wife was very pleased with the boots. By Ed from La Grande, OR on 12/04/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The fit on the boots was spot on. They are classy looking without being overdone. Nice enough to wear on an evening out but tough enough to shovel the driveway in.
