Stylish but more practical By Michigan lady from suburban Detroit area on 12/01/2008 Pros: Cute, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Causes Hotspots or Blisters, Difficult Entry/Exit, very snug Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Stylish Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are very nice dress boots, but also very warm and practical. They are more difficult to get into, and can only be worn with the thinnest of socks or nylons, as they are very snug in the foot. They were marked as running small, so I bought 1/2 size larger, which was very necessary. I have narrow feet, so they fit me well but would not fit someone with wide feet. They are so snug that I did get a blister the first time I wore them. I believe that they will stretch and loosen up with time.
By K from WI on 11/26/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Well Made Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: Stylish, Trendy Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I tried ordering a half size up from what I normally wear, but the boot was so narrow I could not get it on my foot. So I ordered a full size up from that (so, 1.5 size up from normal). The new size fits fine with socks the thickness of tights. Aside from the sizing issue, I love the boots. They are simple and stylish and you can tell they are well-made. They're a bit stiff, but I'm sure they will break in eventually.
By pthaloblue from New Mexico on 11/25/2008 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Office Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Do follow the half size larger recommendation. The calves of the boots are a little bit snug for me, but I hope some leather stretcher will adjust that. My calves are more muscular than most women. The foot part is perfect with the half size larger. I like the wide toe. These are well made boots, and fairly comfortable.
Love, Love, Love these boots By Stylish in the snow from Truckee, Ca on 11/24/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Durable, Stable, Stylish, Warm, Well Made Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Office Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought one size larger than my normal shoe size. 1/2 size larger didn't cut it.
By hausfrau from Minnesota on 11/13/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Cute, Durable, Stable, Well Made Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Stylish Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wore these for a walk to the grocery store (one mile, round trip) the hour I got them. I don't wear a lot of heels, but these were wide and stable, and still cute! The leather is substantial. I walked through snowy grass and the waterproofing works. They zip over my calves, which some boot don't. I ordered a half size up as recommended and still had just enough room for my warm socks.
Exactly what I was looking for. By Cella from Seattle on 11/12/2008 Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Stylish Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Not great to look at but needed a serviceable boot for rainy weather - ordered 1/2 size bigger as noted, but so narrow I couldn't get my foot into it at all.

They seem very durable.
They are just more chunky than I would like.
Stylish boots...still slightly too small By NW Skier from Seattle, WA on 11/07/2008 Pros: Cute, Durable, Easy To Clean, Stable, Stylish, Warm Cons: Causes Hotspots or Blisters, Difficult Entry/Exit Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Office Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I usually wear 8.5-9 M and per the recommendation to buy 1/2 size up, purchased a 9.5. Overall, they fit but weren't the immediately comfortable boots that I had hoped for. There are a few areas that will require a bit of stretching. The calves are a bit tight. They have gores that allow a bit of stretch to the calves so I could fully zip the but it's still tight. I expect this should loosen with wear. I also have a hot spot on my right heel. Not sure why as it's not a problem on my left heel....it might just be my feet. Although it feels as if my toes have plenty of space, I don't quite feel that the balls of my feet are fully planted in the shoe when I step. This might be because I have a high instep. In any case, they look really nice and are really well constructed. I'm hoping they will be more comfortable with a litte breaking-in.
