The lacing up the back and the rounded toe just didn't work with my wardrobe. I was most disappointed because these boots were remarkably comfortable and seemed exceptionally well made.

My main reason for returning them was because the they did not fit my calf. I wear a size 11 and my feet and long and narrow. I am alos tall and thin and so my claves are smaller.

They are very wide at the ankle compared to the rest of the boot. I have big feet...but pretty normal shape feet, ankles and calves. These fit fine through the toes and instep, were HUGE at the ankle and fine again at the calf. Unless your ankles are really thick, these boots will provide absolutely no ankle support.

I do not like wearing heels of any kind but it is nearly impossible to find boots without them; these boots have a low heel are very comfortable.

But...they are beautiful, and the leather is supple.
