stylish but sizing is tricky By MJM from Ohio on 02/17/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Backcountry, Downhill, Hiking, Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these to go with the fera havana matching ski jacket- a beautiful match together. Be aware that the 8S has an inseam of 29 and the 10R is 31 inches (different from the web info). The size 8 fit great but the thigh area is snug as I have an athletic build from all my sports.I ordered the smaller to replace the 10's but decided to keep both--Great deal and one will be better with less layers underneath. These pants have a very tailored look and not that usual bulky snow-pant feel. But that cut makes sizing difficult. The waist measurement is very accurate- and elastic in back makes it ever more flexible. Now if I could just move the mountains back to Ohio and replace all the melted snow, I'd be happy.

Very comfortable fit. I would order a size up from your usual as they tend to run small.
high quality construction, low waist By Vevey expat from Vevey, Switzerland on 12/17/2008 Pros: Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: It makes no sense to me to make ski pants with a low rise on the hips. How can this keep a person warm while wearing a waistlength ski jacket? In some situations, function is more important than style.
Great fit and plenty of pockets! By ski girl from Indiana on 12/04/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Downhill, Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have the hardest time finding ski pants that fit well, but these are just what I was looking for! I'm 5'2" 120 lbs and a size 6R fit almost perfectly, very flattering. Elastic in the back of the waist helps with the fit. But they may be on the short side for a tall person. They have some insulation without being overly bulky, and are made from a fabric that seems quite durable. Can't wait to ski in them!!!

The first pair felt a bit tight in the waist.
