I have left it damp (moist) in the container it came with and have (so far) had no problems with mildew. I try to remember to rinse it out after every use. It has been great to have once I get out of the pool, it sucks up the moisture off my legs and arms. Overall I am happy with this product.

It is more of a hybrid between a sponge and a chamois, than a towel. The directions say to rinse well and use, but I'm perplexed. I'm not sure if it contains chemicals and could not find a label for the country of orgin. I may just return this item.

I bought it for my daugther for diving and it works great. The only con is that it mildews easily and I haven't figured out how to get rid of the stain but still works great! You can't put in back in the container when it is wet even though it says you can as long as the cap isn't on.

It is a great towel to keep in your gym bag....since it does not need to hang dry you will never be without a towel at the gym.
