Maybe would have kept if it was a size larger.
Comfortable soft fabric, feels great. By Lisa B from Longview, WA on 06/14/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Weight, Warm Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The other reviews peaked my interest in this shirt. Normally I don't spend that much but I decided to splurge since it was on special one weekend and I am glad I did. Plan buy the Lime color if it will go on sale on another weekend, it should be a good color for safety while on the road. I do like that it is a shirt but a full zip to take off instead of pulling over your head after a walk/run. Very comfortable feeling fabric, soft against the skin, and not restrictive. I get chilled easily from wind and it was very comfortable that it blocked most of the breeze. Defiantly will enjoy this shirt come fall and, will be enjoying this shirt under my coat this winter.
By my02worth from Seattle, WA on 02/04/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Weight, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This hoodie is the perfect weight; has the soft flannel inside but light enough to wear for the duration of a long run in 40 degree weather. Could also be used as an underlayer for skiing because when it is fully zipped, it fits like a turtleneck, and the hood would fit under a ski helmet. I like that the hood has no annoying strings. The look is very clean, with flattering lines, and it is long enough to cover your waist. Stays in place without riding up while running. I just wish that it had a small pocket for an ipod or credit card.
By Beagle93 from Monument CO on 01/24/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Weight, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Extreme Conditions, Sports Describe Yourself: Conditioning Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I thought the price was steep but like the fabric, style and lime color. Other positive reviews on how warm it is are accurate. I'm keeping it but disappointed in its overall functionality for the price - [$] and no pockets or drawstring on the hood. Still, I read the description before buying and should have noticed these features were missing. Whose fault is that? Duh.

By Climbing Laura from Boulder CO on 12/09/2008 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Weight, Warm, Wicking, Windproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Extreme Conditions, Mountain tops Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm not usually a fan of Lowe Alpine (it's often over-priced compared to the competition) but OMG this shirt is AMAZING. I wore it on a hike up a mountain in sub-freezing gusty conditions and didn't feel a lick of wind even standing on the exposed summit. I could hear the wind, feel it rustling the material even, but it did not get through. The hood on this shirt fits snugly around your face, hugs your neck and covers your ears - so it's not hipster fashionable, but it is USEFUL if you're going to be in serious wind conditions and don't mind looking sorta like a neon-clad speed skater from the neck up. (If you're inclined to wear this more casually, you can wear the hood down or keep it looser by not zipping it all the way to your chin). This "shirt" is made of material designed to be able to be worn next to your skin as a baselayer, so having a full zip is unusual but not unheard of for a serious technical piece that can do double-duty as a shirt or jacket. The body of the shirt is tailored but not form-fitting, so it's not tight enough around the waist for me to wear it as a base layer in the cold. I wore it with a medium-weight Snow Angels shirt underneath, with this as the outer layer, and after I got hiking I was just as snug as a bug in a rug. Love it! One of my favorite STP buys ever, and a great price.
