By oRyGuyo from Western New York State on 01/15/2009 Pros: Good Pockets and Features, Lightweight Best Uses: Bad Weather, Commuting Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: When wearing this without much underneath (just a jersey), it feels a bit large, especially in the arm length. However, when leaning forward as if on a road bike, the extra length in the sleeves is nice because the sleeves don't hike way up your arm. Also, when wearing a warming layer underneath, the fit is fine.
Nice multi-sprort wind-rain jacket By Wolfpics from Garrison, NY on 12/24/2008 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Lightweight, Safety color Cons: Odd pocket placement Best Uses: Bad Weather, Mountain Biking, Road Racing, Running Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm an old school roadie and like my pockets on my back. The two side pockets might hold a shot or a bar safely but not much else. Most other items would fly or fall out.
The jacket is well made and good material. It fits well for it's intended use on a bike. The sleeves are long, but perfect when on road bars. The orange is a great color for bad weather riding and the added reflective strips add another level of safety. It packs well and can be carried in a standard cycling jersey pocket.
nice lightweight jacket, blocks wind. By Cummting _Cyclist from Atlanta, GA on 10/22/2008 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight Best Uses: Commuting, Road Racing Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It's warmer than I expected but still very breathable. The jacket has a mesh panel from the armpit down the inside of the sleeve to help with the breathability. The mesh pockets on the side at the waist are in an unusual location but work ok for cell phones, keys, gloves - would probably hold a water bottle in a pinch but I suspect a bottle would strike your elbow when you pulled your arm back. Sleeves are long so you can stretch out to the hoods on your road bike without them riding up. Probably too long for comfort on a mountain bike.
By Zoundsx from North Carolina on 09/08/2008 Describe Yourself: Avid Cyclist Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: On the positive side: really nice materials, finish and design (with a major exception.) The "tri" pockets are like the 2 side pockets on the back of your jersey, but a little bit further forward. Seems like a great jacket, but... the sleeves are really long (actually cover my hands with fingers extended.) I could live with that, but the sleeve openings are also really wide, so that the sleeves slide down over my hands, and would most certainly be uncomfortable and catch the wind. Could have put in a few stitches, but chose to return Jacket, as I consider this a serious design flaw. So, if your arms are really long, or your hands are freakishly large this could be for you.
