I wear a size 7 normally and in my other Born shoes. I ended up ordering a 7.5 and these fit perfectly. I know a lot of the other reviewers had issues putting the boots on, or with the boot shaft being too narrow. I didn't have any of these problems, with the side zipper these boots come on and off very easily (I am 5'4" and weigh 110 lbs, so maybe I have chicken legs?). Good construction on the boots and the footbed is extremely soft and comfortable. My only beef is on the left boot the leather part around the heel kind of digs into the back of my achilles tendon. But, I'm hoping this will loosen up with wear.

Zipper on the side that goes down to the sole of the boot made it easy to get on and off. The design on the side was stitched in well.

The tread will be great in the winter, and the top-stitching will ensure a long life.
They do fit small, so be sure to add a half size. I'm counting on the leather to stretch a bit so that they fit comfortably.
Wearable Art but too painful . . . They were very attractive. However, the calf area of the boots were so tight they constricted my legs. Too painful to wear.

I know that suggestions and comments noted that you had to size up ... this is true if you wore a winter or heavy sock. Current sizing only allows you to wear a nylon stocking.
