Can't Say Enough Good Things... By BioWorkZ from Alhambra, CA on 03/16/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Comfortable, Durable, Flexible, Lightweight, Stability Best Uses: Endurance Training, Jogging, Running Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am currently on my 4th pair of Brooks Beast Running Shoes. They are by far the best pair of shoes I have ever worn. I use to wear other brands but always had an issue with blisters, arch pains, and the most crippling knee pains. I finally gave in and went to a professional jogging store. I had one of the salesman who's also a professional runner analyze my situation and he recommended the Brooks Beast. I was very skeptical at the time. I never paid more that $60 for a pair, and here I am paying [$] for these Brooks Beast. (That's why purchasing them on Sierratradingpost.com is a much better solution) So I jogged with them later that day...WOW. Absolutely no knee pain. It's like a miracle. I'm a true believer that a great pair of shoes makes a huge difference. So it comes down to whether I should fork out a little extra for a proper pair of shoes or permanently injure myself which will cost more anyway. I can't say enough good things about them. I'm also training for my 4th marathon at the moment. =)

I am flat footed and need the extra width supplied for the sole of the shoe. Other shoe styles put me at risk for turning my ankle.

By TBall from Ann Arbor, MI on 02/15/2009 Pros: Absorbs Shock, Attractive Design, Durable, Flexible, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Gym Rat Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This product began to cause a blister on the instep when using regular cotton socks. However, I switched to a thin, synthetic running sock and this problem was eliminated. This is an excellent running shoe now that thinner socks are being worn.
